“I thought I had lost the first five rounds, so I tried to win the final round,” Chavez said. “He’s a strong, good boxer, his first three or four rounds. After that, he felt tired. I don’t think he’s ready for the championship, but he’s a good fighter.”
Chavez, who fought only once since 2021, is best known for failing to maximize his father’s genetic potential. He is still the most trusted boxer to share the ring with Paul.
