The flames of Hugh Jackman’s rumors are silent after his ex-wife, Deborah Lee Furness, filed for divorce.
On Sunday, the Broadway star appeared on the red carpet solo at the 69th Annual Drama Desk Awards.
The 50-year-old smiled and posed for the photographer at a flashy New York City event. There she avoided answering questions about the actor. The “young” alum was nominated for “Exceptional lead performance in a musical.” New York Post It has been reported.

According to people, Furness’s attorneys also filed applications related to duo settlements, healthcare compensation and medical child support. The former couple tied the knot in 1996 when Jackman was 27 and Furness was 40.
They share two adoptive children, Oscar and AVA.
According to the filing, couples’ divorces are not contested and only a judge is required to approve them.

On Tuesday, Furness shared a statement Daily Mail And for the first time since the filing, I made a statement in emotional comments.
“My heart and compassion come to everyone who has tragically crossed the traumatic journey of betrayal,” Furnace said.
She said their separation was “a deep scar that cuts deep.”

Furness continued. “But I believe in higher powers and I believe God/universe is always working for us, whatever you are as your guidance. This belief helped me navigate the collapse of my marriage for almost three years.”

Gus Warland, who appeared on Thursday on the Australian radio show Ben Fordham Live and said he was Jackman’s best friend since attending kindergarten together in 1973, was asked about the emotional statement Furness released.
“The last few years have been difficult,” Warland said.
“I don’t want anyone to go through what they’ve experienced, and of course they experience everything publicly because of the type of people and the fame they have,” he continued.

“One of the things that made me really strict or chastised, not just me, but for many other peers who both love, is making me do what they have to do,” Warland said.
The TV and radio personality shared that he recently visited Jackman. He calls it “Jacco.”
“I was in New York with Jacko last month and he’s fine,” Warland said. “He’s on track. He’s continuing his life. I hope Fat will do that too.”

In September 2023, Jackman and Furness announced they would separate together in 27 years. The Australian actress and actor shared a joint statement with people at the time.
