House GOP’s election division offers to create bills for any future Democrats A trip to El Salvador after several progressive lawmakers travelled there in protest against the Trump administration’s deportation policy.
The National Republican Congressional Committee (NRCC) held a public call on Monday, but candidates must provide real-time video evidence of the visit.
“If Democrats in the Out-Touch House are so desperate to be comfortable with members of violent gangs, all they can do is have Americans watch the show,” said NRCC spokesman Mike Marinella.
“We pay for plane tickets. They can’t forget that they smile for the camera while selling out their members.”

Progressive Senator Chris Van Hollen (D-Md.) was in El Salvador last week. There he met Kilmer Abrego Garcia, an illegal immigrant who married American citizens. The administration says Abrego Garcia is a member of the MS-13 gang, with a history of violent history.
In contrast, Democrats portrayed him as Maryland’s father and husband as an accidental deportation under the Trump administration’s fundamental immigration plan.
Four House Democrats – Rep. Maxwell Frost, D-Fla. , Robert Garcia, D-Calif, Yassamine Ansari, D. Aliz, and Maxine Dexter, D-ore. – Currently in El Salvador with Abrego Garcia’s family lawyers to secure his release.
Frost told Fox News host Will Cain on Monday that they were unable to meet him.
In a press release announcing the trip, the group said it was not funded by taxpayer dollars, but did not say how it was funded.

I’ll come to the president Donald Trump’s Tren de Aragua and members of the MS-13 gang are in conflict with the court over his administration’s deportation to El Salvador.
Democrats and human rights groups have alleged that the White House denied the right to a legitimate process for deported individuals, but supporters say the illegal immigration hearings and deportation orders are sufficient evidence.
The Supreme Court upheld a lower court’s ruling earlier this month that ordered the Trump administration to return to the United States. The court ordered the United States to “promote” the release of Abrego Garcia from El Salvador’s custody, and his case would not have been inappropriately sent to El Salvador.”
Meanwhile, Republicans are particularly keen to link Democrats to criminals suspected of being deported to El Salvador prison after border security and immigration proved a strong GOP issue in the 2024 election.

The National Republican Senate Committee (NRSC), a counterpart of the NRCC, stated, “We have released a video of Brother X to Democrats.
The 40-second video is a holiday-style clip promoting El Salvador as “a thrill-seeking Democrat’s destination for the thrill-seeking of violent criminals back to America.”
“With the purest form of Trump’s crazy syndrome,” the narrator says. “So, Senate Democrats, what are you waiting for?”
