
With the president’s great victory Donald Trump R-la. Mike Johnson, speaker from the House passed the bill Thursday, setting the stage for a massive, conservative policy overhaul.
The law passed primarily along the party line Thursday morning after a long night of negotiations between House GOP leaders and the fiscal Hawks, who are critical of spending reduction levels.

“This morning we have a vote to finally adopt a budget resolution, so I think we can move forward with President Trump’s very important agenda for Americans,” Johnson said. One of them is working to find at least $1.5 trillion in savings for Americans.
“We’re alongside the House of Representatives in terms of what the budget resolution outlines from a savings perspective. The speakers spoke about $1.5 trillion. We have a lot of US senators who keep that to a minimum,” Thune said.

Congressional Republicans are working on a massive, conservative policy overhaul through the budget adjustment process. By lowering the Senate’s passing threshold from 60 to 51 votes, powerful parties can pass major fiscal and budget policy changes.
In this case, Republicans are looking for some additional funds to raise border security, defense, and debt caps. Meanwhile, it has curbed spending on the former Biden administration’s green energy policy and other sections of the federal government that could include the qualification program.

GOP lawmakers are also considering expanding Trump’s 2017 Tax Cuts and Employment Act (TCJA). The regulations expire at the end of this year. They will also need new funds for Trump’s efforts to eliminate taxes on tipping and overtime wages.
The House will pass its own version of its plan earlier this year, seeking to cut spending by at least $1.5 trillion, offsetting new spending and cutting national debt in excess of $36 trillion.
The Senate’s plans are closely aligned with the House version, but require a minimum of $4 billion cuts.
An unrelated vote was held for over an hour on Wednesday night, and lawmakers were impatient on the floor of the house, but Johnson stopped in a back room with a holdout.
One House Republican said he was frustrated with Fox News Digital about how Johnson handled the issue.
“He locked out the entire meeting for 80 minutes while you played Grava. With these people,” the GOP lawmaker fumed. “And all day long it was like, ‘Oh, we’re going to get this done.’ ”

The House Republican said, “All the chatter we’ve heard was [holdouts were] Up to single digits. However, 17 or 20 people were in the room. So obviously there was a much bigger problem than they had been letting out all day. ”

Traditionally, the house and the Senate You must pass the same coordination framework and begin working on creating a policy to meet that framework.
Republicans are also fighting against the clock. We expect to reach the debt cap over the summer. The US government then risks national defaults if it does not raise that limit to pay its debt.
Trump’s 2017 tax cuts are also expected to expire at the end of this year if they are not extended.
