For over 20 years, the Nypd Blue star Kim Delaney He has a significant portion of his personal and public struggles. From multiple run-ins with law to stints for rehabilitation couples, the 63-year-old actress’s latest arrest holds back a long battle with alcoholism.
Delaney got his first taste of Hollywood in the early ’80s. “All my kids.” She appeared in television shows and films for years later, but it wasn’t until 1995 that she really made her name.

In 2011, the actress had to escort behind the scenes after rambling, slurred her words during a speech at an event honoring Robert Gates’ former Secretary of Defense.
“So I worked in an active military family for five years,” the “Army Wife” star said during her speech. “Like many others, I struggled with multiple deployments, changed management, he had difficulty as a senior officer, so I supported my spouse through station changes. I have seen soldiers return home with painful, life-changing injuries born out of time and service.

Delaney, who appeared on several shows, including “The OC,” “Army Wives,” “All My Children,” and “Chicago Fire,” was on the latest familiarity with the law on Saturday.
Saturday, deputies from Marina Del ReyThe California station responded to a domestic obstruction at Delaney’s home around 9:45am. Los Angeles County Sheriff’s Department (LASD).
After the investigation, Delaney was arrested for assault with a deadly weapon, and her partner, James Morgan, was arrested for battery.

Delaney was booked at Marina Del Rey Sheriff’s Station at 10:15am and was charged with the assault, potentially causing physical injuries.

Records obtained by Fox News Digital show that she was taken into custody by LASD on Tuesday and had been in custody since her arrest.
Delaney was originally scheduled to appear in court, but was released after prosecutors were found for inadequate reasons to file a complaint against the TV star.
Delaney’s representatives did not immediately respond to Fox News Digital’s request for comment at the time.
“Based on previous reviews of evidence, the District Attorney’s Office has not filed any charges against Kim Delaney or James Morgan,” Los Angeles District Attorney Nathan Hochman told Fox News Digital.

Delaney, who had previously married twice, married Morgan on October 11, 2022. However, according to the LA Times, the actress filed for divorce five months later. She sought a temporary restraining order against Morgan on suspicion of domestic violence, according to court documents. Gets by the outlet.
The document states that Delaney (who shares one son with her ex-husband, Joseph Cortes) was in a hotel in Philadelphia when Morgan was angry, grabbed her with her arm and hair, and yelled and pushed her.

The TRO was dropped after no one appeared in the courts that might formalize or expand it.
In October, Delaney and Morgan celebrated their second wedding anniversary together.
