Neil McDonough has supported famous personal rules Kissing the screenhowever, the actor has broken the boundaries of his latest project.
The actor gave a special milestone kiss in the film “The Last Rodeo” that he loves RuvĂ©, the love of his life.
McDonough spoke to Fox News Digital about how it felt to be back in the saddle after appearing on a Western project. Including “Yellowstone” Eventually, I was able to “finally kiss the girl.”

“I’ve been riding a horse for the rest of my life, so diving into this saddle is different because I’ve never been to this type of saddle,” McDonough said. “I wasn’t a movie hero. I was not in a position where I couldn’t end up kissing a girl.
“I was not in a position to end up kissing girls because, as everyone knows, I don’t kiss other women on screen.”
McDonough added that he needs a bit of persuasion to have Leve, who helped produce “The Last Rodeo,” and starred on the ship, especially in a romantic scene.

“I convinced my wife, Levee. “Honey, you have to be in the movie because you have to kiss the girl at the end.” She seems to be “I don’t know how to act.” I said, “Well, you’re right now.”
The moment, directed by his longtime friend and film director John Avnett, not a film-like kiss to McDonough, but rather the pinnacle of his long-standing faith and devotion to marriage that endured the pressures of Hollywood.

“We did that. It was one of my favorite moments I’ve ever had on set. There, I’m wearing a hero hat and my favorite director, John Avnet, kissing my wife in the film, doing what I always wanted to do.
Neil and his wife, Levais, have been married for over 20 years. When Fox News Digital asked what it would be like to highlight their romance scenes, he jokingly said, “Yeah, we got it that day. It was the best.”
However, filming the kiss scene took a humorous turn when her daughter London was on set during her parents’ take.

“Our daughter London was there, and she said, “Dad, can you stop? I’m famous for one, maybe two takes, so I went through eight or nine takes. “John, we need one more. And we’re McKinn again.”
McDonough explained that he was able to show “my love for my wife.”
“What I love more than anything on this planet is, for me, it was the best thing I’ve done in my life.
“The ups and downs, the difficult times I went through because of the choices I made are now all in the rearview mirror. And one of my great friends, my mentor, my brother, John Avnett, and I would not be here without you.”
“The Last Rodeo” focused on the themes of faith, family and redness in the high adrenaline world of bull riding, but director Avnet linked all subjects with Fox News Digital and his latest project, sharing how he worked with longtime friend McDonough.

“I really believed in Neil as an actor. I believed he was the leading man in the modelling of Clint Eastwood models John Wayne or Gary Cooper’s Jimmy Stewart,” Avnett said.
“He has the ability to express a lot by doing seemingly little, but in this case he was emotionally there… Here Neil, not a child anymore.

Fox News Digital also spoke with McDonough and his wife Professional Bull Rider At an event in Arlington, Texas, the “The Last Rodeo” star shared what his intense training constituted. He admitted to being injured while riding the bull.

“There was a lot of work. … For me, it was a mechanical bull for almost months, months and months. It beat the nose from you. It was tough, but I didn’t want anything to look 100% authentic.”
In “The Last Rodeo,” McDonough depicts the legend of a retired rodeo who put everything in danger to save his sick grandson. When he faced his own painful past and fear of his family, the McDonough character took part in a high-stakes bull riding competition as the oldest contestant to date.

Along the way, he reconciles his old wounds with his estranged daughter, proving that he can see true courage in the fight for his family.
“The Last Rodeo” will be released at the theaters on May 23rd.
