
“Happy Day“The stars have gathered for the first time in decades.
On a Steel Citycon panel in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, Ron Howard, Henry Winkler, Anson Williams and Don met most publicly for the first time in 50 years, walking to the stage with loud cheers from the audience.
“It feels like 50 minutes,” Howard can be heard saying on an Instagram video posted on the event’s official page. “Yes. We’re hanging so much fun. This is our great excuse.
Foursome starred together on the popular family sitcom from 1974 to 1984. However, except for Howard, who left the show in 1980 after seven seasons. The show followed the Cunningham family and their close friends in Millwake, Wisconsin in the 1950s and 60s.

At the event, Winkler looked back on the 11 seasons he spent working on the show, celebrating the show’s creators. Garry MarshallBecause he is a “great creator” and “great writer” who put together a “great cast.”
“Unfortunately, some of them are no longer on earth with us, but we played together, were there and worked hard together,” Winkler said of the relationship between the cast of the show. “I don’t think I’m better than anyone else.”
Howard reflected Winkler’s sentiment, explaining that “it was a huge key” to the show’s success, and that “over time, the show really evolved as an ensemble.”
“It was a life experience that was different from anything else I’d ever known,” he said. “And we had great chemistry. We enjoyed working together from the start, but never let us fail.”

Before the panel, Winkler spoke. Pittsburgh Post Gazette Regarding how happy he is to be reunited with his former castmates publicly, he said, “In the last 50 years, “This is the first time we’ve been public,” but they’ve seen each other and “were together.”
He also reiterated how Marshall succeeded in the show’s success, sharing that he “will not let the set act badly,” and put together the cast.
“Whether you were, whatever you were, you were part of the ensemble. Everyone respected each other. I created a softball teamAnd I played it every Sunday. We then traveled around the country. Then we traveled around the world. ”
Another Instagram post shared on the event page allows you to see four men taking photos while holding their certificates. The caption explains that the certificate signifies a declaration by the President of the Allegheny County Council, and that April 5th will be known as Happy Day in Allegheny County, Pennsylvania.
