Democrats reported that they have pushed back regulations that said they would increase energy prices by eliminating the Inflation Reduction Act program and allowing heavy pollution industries to skip parts of the federal permitting process.
“We’re looking at a settlement bill that picks winners and losers and increases expensive, outdated, inefficient sources like coal and more inefficient sources than inexpensive, American-made energy such as solar, wind, and storage,” he said. Democratic California Rep. Scott Peters.
