Top Advisor for the Secretary of Defense Pete Hegses Department of Defense officials said he was escorted from the Pentagon on Tuesday and took administrative leave.
First reported by Reuters Caldwell was on leave for “fraudulent disclosure” of information during an investigation into the Pentagon leak. The official confirmed with Fox News Digital that Reuters’ report was accurate but refused to comment on the ongoing investigation.
Caldwell previously worked in a restraint-oriented think tank defense priority, and was previously an American veteran, a group led by Heggs. The foreign policy realist argued that the US should dramatically reduce its footprint in Europe and bring out Iraqi and Syrian troops…read more
