Fighter jets intercept 11 aircraft near Trump’s Bedminster golf course

The fighter jet intercepted at least three aircraft on Sunday, violating Temporary Flight Restrictions (TFR) airspace on Bedminster, New Jersey. North American Aerospace Defense Command (norad).

With one aircraft intercepted in the morning and the other two intercepted later that day, Norad said there were a total of 11 unauthorized aircraft invasions in the TFR Airspace over the weekend.

At about 10:30am on Sunday, a civilian plane violated the TFR and was safely escorted from the area by a NORAD aircraft.

“The Nord and [Federal Aviation Administration] We aim to keep the skies over America safe with great care Temporary flight restrictions (TFR) To ensure flight safety, national security and the security of the president, General Gregory Guillott, Commander of the NORAD and US Northern Command, said: “TFR procedures are mandatory and the number of TFR violations this weekend indicates that the FAA has not read the notification to airmen or notams prior to each flight required by the FAA.

Guillot said that NORAD’s armed fighter jets will intercept and guide the problematic aircraft from the TFR.

Second Navy Fighter Jets are outboard from Truman Aircraft carriers, pilots are ejected.

“If an aircraft pilot happens to be intercepted by either a fighter or a helicopter, they will soon appear at a frequency of 121.5 or 243.0 and must reverse the course until they receive additional instructions on either of those frequencies,” Guillot added.

In another example on Saturday, the aircraft was safely escorted from the TFR Airspace just before 2:40pm after using standard “headbutt” operations to attract the pilot’s attention.

Operations include military jets flying directly in front of civilian aircraft at close but safe distances to send visual signals to pilots follow or change courses.

Authorities warned private pilots to do their homework before takeoff.

“It is extremely important for North American flight safety that temporary flight restrictions (TFR) violations are avoided,” Norad said in a message to the pilot. “All pilots should be familiar with updating to restricted airspace, including reviews of new and existing FAAs Notams [Notice to Airmen] It affects their flight plans and activities. Compliance with FAA restricted airspace protocols is mandatory regardless of geographical area, air force, or land roof. ”
