Mia Sarah, best known for her performances Matthew Broderick’s In “Ferris Buehler’s Holiday,” girlfriend Sloan made the rare red carpet appearance this week, following her first film role in 14 years.
57-year-old Sarah, star of Stephen King’s adaptation, The Life of Chuck People Magazine She decided to go back to the big screen and work with Mike Flanagan, director of The Haunting of Hill House and Doctor Sleep.
Sarah said Outlet Flanagan’s 2021 Netflix Limited series, “Midnight Mass,” is “one of my favorite things I’ve ever seen.”
Sarah said Flanagan’s wife, Kate Siegel, starred in both. “I’ll never forget Hill House” And “Midnight Mass” met her some time ago and asked her, “Well, don’t you really want to work again?” ”

The science fiction/fantasy film is called “a life-affirming genre-bending story based on Stephen King’s novels about three chapters in the life of an ordinary man named Charles Krantz.”
Along with Sarah, he stars Tom Hiddleston, Jacob Trembray, Mark Hamill, Benjamin Pajack, Chuetel Egiofor and Karen Gillan.

The “Ransom Canyon” star thought he would land a Netflix role before his Hollywood career ended.
Sarah plays the grandmother of Chuck, the same name, played by Tremblay, Pajak and Hiddleston in various ways.

Sarah’s final big screen role came in 2011 when she played Princess Langwidere in “Dorothy and the Witch of Oz.”
Sarah said Entertainment Weekly She found the fans’ excitement about returning to “a little daunting” behavior, but I’m very grateful! That’s unexpected.”
“Ferris Buhler’s Holiday” It was one of Sara’s first film roles, released in 1986, following Ridley’s big screen debut in Scott’s “The Legend.”

Sarah said she spends her time mainly riding horses and cooking and reading at 17th-century farmers in the 17th-century English countryside.

“To be honest, it was really about the microphone,” Sarah told people when asked if she was planning on doing more in the future. “If Mike needs me, I’ll be there.”
“The Life of Chuck” will premiere nationwide on June 13th at a limited theatre on Friday.
