The man reportedly was a French soldier, and was immediately descending when the right side of his parachute was trapped on the roof. He was hanging about 50 feet above the crowd and came to see Toulouse do a shark sale.
The firefighters arrived at the parachutes and needed a long ladder to save him safely. He was saved, and the man looked unharmed. Once he reached safety, the crowd began to cheer.
Firefighters also received a loud cheer if they could pull down the parachute.
