SpaceX is investing $2 billion in Elon Musk’s Xai artificial intelligence The company, reportedly as part of a $5 billion equity round.
The investments first reported by the Wall Street Journal represent further deepening the bonds between Musk companies, including SpaceX, Tesla and Social Media Platform X, by citing investors familiar with the issue.
Musk repeatedly mobilized his company to boost his AI startup.
Musk said Tesla vehicles to acquire Grok AI chatbots will start next week.

Earlier this year, the mask helped to fuse Xai with X and expand the range of Grok Chatbot. The merger values the new company at $113 billion, and Grok Chatbot is currently attracting attention for its enhanced support for Starlink and for its future integration into Tesla’s Optimus Robots.
Commitment from SpaceX It comes when Musk’s AI startup is about to compete with rival Openai. Also, startups continue to spend large amounts of money on model training and infrastructure.

“It’s great, but it’s subject to approval from the board and shareholders,” Musk said.
Musk called The Grok chatbot “The World’s Smartest AI” has recently been the subject of controversy after using anti-Semitic language in its response, but Xai apologized and blamed the cause of the chatbot’s update.

After careful research, we discovered that the underlying cause was an update of the code path upstream of the @grok bot. This is unrelated to the underlying language model that makes full use of @grok.”
