House Republican leader Ellis Stefanik, RN.Y., announced a new political fundraising machine on Wednesday. Candidate Governor.
Stefanik is looking at potential bids for the governor’s mansion in Albany. She told the Republican crowd on Staten Island on Monday that she was “strongly considering” to enter the race.
Her new state political action committee, Save New York, appears to aim to further strengthen Empire’s heavyweight status in GOP politics.

“Kathy Hochul is America’s worst Beaunolle and she leads a failed Democrat. After years of failing single-party Democrat control in New York, it has never been clearer than ever that a strong Republican leader was needed in New York,” Stefanik said in a statement.
She said Save New York will “focus on supporting Republican candidates and campaigns in local elections this November to lay the foundation for 2026.”

“I am proud of the strong support my political team has developed over the past decade, for the generous support from New York voters and donors who have built our political equipment into fundraising and political juggernauts to provide hardworking policies for New York families,” Stefanik said.

Trump appointed her ambassador to the United Nations for his second term, and she was poised to sail through a confirmation process before concerns about a razor-like majority in the House GOP I bowed to Stefanik of competition.

Stefanik is one of two House Republicans considering bidding for the governor of New York.
Rep. Mike Lawler, one of the three House GOP MPs representing Kamala Harris’ former vice president in 2024, openly messed with the efforts of his own governor.
Trump recently approved Roller for his reelection in the House district.
