Dwight Howard’s dog killed in hit-and-run, ex-NBA star seeks answers

Former NBA All-Star Dwight Howard said his dog, who died last week after being attacked by a car on Sunday.

Howard wrote that the car “continued” after Sunday was attacked.

“From the moment I got you, on Sunday, you were more than my dog… You were my peace. My guardian. My guardian. It reminds me of everything beautiful and calm, like an early Sunday morning,” Howard wrote in his post.

“You couldn’t hold anyone else. That didn’t mean everything. And every time I called your name, you were your only mission to love me… You were joy. You were warmth. You were my girl.
