A source familiar with her confirmation hearing preparation told Fox News Digital That Neshwatt There have been many “productive meetings” on Capitol Hill regarding her nomination.

Nesheiwat recently met with staff from the Senate Assistance Committee, along with all Health Policy GOP staff. Sources said these staff have expressed support for the Public Health Services and the appointment of Surgeon General as medical director. Neshwatt also met with Sens. R-Tenn along with Sens. Angela Angela of Maryland and Sens. John Hickenlooper and Marsha Blackburn of Colorado.
Sources told Fox News Digital that Blackburn supports Nesheiwat. Details of the Nesheiwat meeting with Hickenlooper and Brooks were not immediately clear.
Sources said various topics were discussed during these meetings, including chronic diseases, diseases, opioids, Maha’s mission, Maha’s mission, nutrition and science data, including the struggle against American education, shortages of health providers, mental health, food deserts and the role of government in tracing health threats.
Sources said the conversation was “a positive and productive conversation.”
Neshwatt has so far met all Republican senators on the Senate Aid Committee except Senator Josh Hawley.
Sources told Fox News Digital that Alabama Sen. Katie Britt, who is not on the committee, would like to meet Neshwat in early May.

Neshwat, the daughter of Jordanian immigrants, leads frontline health teams during the Covid-19 pandemic in New York City, along with past work managing public health responses amid the flu outbreak, the opioid crisis, the opioid crisis, the monkeypox outbreak and other major health challenges.
She was also named the first female medical director of CityMD in Manhattan, one of America’s largest emergency care systems.

When she nominated Neshwat to the position, Trump said she was “a fierce advocate and powerful communicator for preventive health care and public health.”

Regarding the Maha movement, led by Department of Health and Human Services Secretary Robert F. Kennedy Jr., Republicans say Neshwatt represents the Trump administration’s vision. R-Ind. Sen. Jim Banks of the group said Neshwat “understands the Maha movement.”

Nesheiwat began his medical education at the University of the Caribbean School of Medicine. She completed her first curriculum at the school’s St. Marten Campus. She then completed clinical rotations at Johns Hopkins Bayview Medical Center, Metropolitan State Hospital, Guy & St. Thomas Hospital and Medway Maritime Hospital.
Nesheiwat completed Family Medicine Residence at the University of Arkansas Medical Sciences Regional Health Education Center and was elected Chief Resident in his final year.
In 2009, Nesheiwat achieved Board of Directors of Family Medicine by the US Board of Family Medicine, and in 2020 it achieved Board of Directors of Emergency Medicine by the US Board of Emergency Medicine.
The Nesheiwat hearing will be set at 10am on May 8th, when senators on the Senate Aid Committee raise questions on her before her confirmation vote.
