President Donald Trump chose the aerospace giant to build the next generation of aviation control platforms.
Ministry of Justice (DOJ) reportedly notified the victim’s family of two fatal Boeing 737 MAX8 aircraft crash.
Clifford Law Offices said in a news release that the DOJ wrote to his family on Thursday, and that the agency filed an allegation denied the criminal fraud issue against Boeing.
Instead, the DOJ said it had filed a non-projection agreement (NPA). For Boeing About two 737 MAX8 planes that crashed six years ago and killed 346 people.
The DOJ has sent a letter as part of the Federal Crime Victims Rights Act.

Paul Cassell, a lawyer for Pro Bono, who also works as a professor at SJ Quinney Law College at the University of Utah, represents several families of the victims and advises U.S. District Court Judge Reed O’Connor about his intentions to oppose the DOJ motion.
The family was notified almost a week after DOJ said he had made a temporary deal with Boeing.
Under the agreement, Boeing said in court documents last week it would pay $1.1 billion, including $445 million, to the fund for the families of victims of the crash crash.

In exchange, the DOJ dismisses fraud charges against the aircraft manufacturer.
DOJ did not immediately respond to requests for comment regarding Fox Business issues.
The news release noted that families have been seeking a meeting with U.S. Attorney General Pam Bondi since February 6th, hoping for a meeting before a final decision is made. The law firm said as of Thursday that the family had never responded.

“Boeing must continue to improve the effectiveness of its anti-combustion compliance and ethics programme and maintain an independent compliance consultant,” the department said last week. “We believe this solution is the most legitimate result with practical benefits.”

Last year, Boeing agreed to plead guilty to a Crime fraud Conspiracy claims after two fatal 737 biggest crashed in Indonesia and Ethiopia in 2018 and 2019. The company previously agreed to pay fines of up to $487.2 million and faced three years of independent surveillance.
The deal, announced last Friday, did not work with the parents of those killed in the crash.
“This kind of non-dose contract is unprecedented and is clearly wrong for the most deadly corporate crime in US history. My family wants to persuade the court to refuse it,” Kassel said.

Boeing is facing an increase in scrutiny from the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) when the new Max 9, which lost four key bolts in January 2024, suffered an air emergency and lost its door plug, Reuters reported. The FAA produces 38 aircraft per month.
Last year, DOJ discovered that Boeing was violating a 2021 agreement to protect plane makers From the prosecutor.
