“If I hadn’t had surgery that night, I probably wouldn’t have woken up. It was definitely life and death, thanks to my wife,” he told Fox News Digital in a recent interview. “I was trying to convince her that I didn’t need to go to her, and she said that wasn’t an option.”
May was called out in 2019 and his arm has always been one of the most troublesome things in the major leagues. However, since 2021 he has only gotten 25 starts with two Tommy John surgeries and his lettuce calamity.

Tyler Glasnow was placed on the 15th of Illinois, but help is underway for the Dodgers rotation
“I feel good. Being able to wear a uniform and get back to the field right now is just a blessing. Whether the outcome is good or bad, the game is taken away from me for a long time and I can’t go back and skip the beat right away, which makes me feel like I’m home,” May said.
Arm injuries are especially common for pitchers. But the rest of your season, and almost your life, Eat salad? It was a difficult drug to swallow for May.

May has always leaned against his faith, but “but my spiritual journey has definitely grown, like the last nine months since my surgery.”
“I was almost taken away, so it definitely got far closer, so I definitely wanted an opportunity to thank him so that he was still here, still living my dreams and use the abilities and gifts that he had blessed me.”
“So thank you [my wife] And the good lord above. ”
He’s back, so in May I try to avoid stressing with bumps as much as possible. It wasn’t when he returned from his first Tommy John surgery, as he was a top prospect.
“At the beginning of my career, definitely after my first time [Tommy John surgery] When I came back, I definitely felt pressured to be someone I was before,” he said. [Tommy John] And after my esophageal surgery, my life is not only focused on baseball, but there are bigger picture items in my life. That’s definitely still a central point. But if things go south or things get better, I still try to keep the head of the level.

“I felt like a fan because I was far from it. Now I feel like I’m contributing. That feels cool in the way.”
