Arizona Diamondbacks star’s second baseman Ketelmarte was in tears during the seventh pitching change of the team’s 4-1 victory Chicago White Sox Tuesday at the rate field.
Marte, 31, was shed tears after fans cried out dim-like comments about his late mother. Marte’s mother, Elpidia Valdez, died in a car accident in the Dominican Republic in 2017. Diamondbacks Manager Torey Lovullo comforted Marte, who shed tears on the mound, placing his arms around him during the pitching change.

Lovullo said he heard what fans said to Marte, and a Diamondbacks spokesman Republic of Arizona That Rovro and bench coach Jeff Bannis asked him to remove the person from the game.
“It was a terrible moment, the fans are annoying, the fans are too much,” an emotional Lovro told reporters after the game. “I reacted like my father when I went out to change pitchers,” Rovro said according to the Republic of Arizona. “I saw him sob. It hurts.”
Lovullo added that he told Marte that he was not alone and that Heckler was a “idiot.”

Lovullo said he loves all the players and he intends to protect them.
“I’ve known Ketel for nine years, and he had incredible moments and some difficulties, and some really rough moments in his life. I know them. After all, we were human and we wanted to hurt him.”
Diamondbacks Shortstop Gerald Perdomo said fans “must certainly need to be banned.”
“That won’t happen,” Perdomo said. “We can’t continue doing that… here In MLB. ”
Marte declined to comment on the incident through team officials.

Marte was 2-4 in the victory and had his first solo home run to give the Diamondbacks a 1-0 lead. Marte is having a great season with the Diamondbacks again.
In 52 games, the batting average for two All-Stars is 14 times and has 31 RBIs.
Diamondbacks (41-38) will play the final game of the three-game series on Wednesday at 2:10pm. Diamondback is heading for a series sweep as he won the first two games of the series.
