Tom Thibodeau hasn’t spoken since. New York Knicks Released him from his head coaching duties, one of his former players revealed what he was thinking after talking to him.
Derrick Rosethe former Knicks star, who played for Thibodeaux for many years, called him “crazy” to watch New York move from his longtime head coach.
“I then spoke to Tibbs. He’s good,” Rose said at a press conference for NASCAR, who was an adult former member of Chicago.

The Knicks still have to pay for Thibodeau. The Knicks still have to pay Thibodeau as it was part of his deal he signed before the start of last season.
“You shouldn’t get mad when you leave for $30 million,” Rose added. “So I’m so sorry to him. But he’s fine. Yeah, that’s my guy. We were locked up to the end. But he’s good. [Brunson] I’m still in New York. He’ll be Balin. Everyone wins, I feel. ”
The Knicks have found an alternative to him, but it is unclear whether Thibodeau is trying to coach anywhere this season. Mike Brown will become the team’s new head coach.
Thibodeaux’s tenure in New York lasted five seasons, during which he led his team to the playoffs four times.
The most recent run came to the Eastern Conference Finals when the Knicks fell for the Indiana Pacers.

Rose joined Thibodeau when he started time with the Knicks for the 2020-21 campaign. The former Chicago Bulls MVP played three seasons with New York’s Thibodeau, the Bulls and the Minnesota Timberwolves.
Thibodeau’s Knicks have been consistently better by the season, but his star, especially Jalen Branson, has been criticized by many for his minutes of use.
