NASCAR Star Denny Hamlin was hit by a horrifying incident on a truck at Texas Motor Speedway on Sunday.
Hamlin’s 11 vehicles developed an engine problem between turns 1 and 2 on lap 75. It then set fire to the fire as the car revved. A lot of smoke swirled from his engine as paramedics rushed to Hamlin to put out the flames.

He completed only 15 laps and resigned to the 38th position. Würth400.

Hamlin said he tried to prevent the engine from blowing completely, in order to make the crew see it and understand exactly what went wrong.

Toyota drivers have put together another solid season through the first 10 races of the year. He took part in the third race in Fort Worth in the points standings behind leaders William Byron and Kyle Larson. He was just 52 points behind Byron.
However, Sunday’s accident definitely doesn’t give him the chance to jump in front of either driver in front of him. Chase Elliott Just 20 points behind Hamlin, Christopher Bell had a 30-point deficit from him.
Hamlin has won two victories this season. Five top 5 finishes and six top 10 finishes.
