Rep. Junie Joseph of D-Boulder, who attended the event, faced further scrutiny, but she told her to Fox News Digital Condemn anti-Semitism.
“Sunday has been a very painful day for our community. My heart is with all the victims of the Boulder attack and all those affected. I clearly condemn all forms of hatred and violence, including anti-Semitism and Islamophobia,” Joseph said in an email to Fox News Digital.
“I’ve heard concerns about Congressman Ilhan Omar attending a private event. I was originally invited to introduce her to a Young Democrat event that focused on young people’s involvement.

I believe both are essential to a fair and caring society,” Joseph further said. “These are difficult times and I am committed to listening, learning and being careful to lead. Jews, Muslims and more for all members of our community.”
