Jackie Siegel She lamented the loss of her husband, 89-year-old David Siegel, and her younger sister, Jessica Marelly, 43. They died within a few days of each other.
Florida Social Studies featured on Sunday with David in the 2012 documentary “Queen of Versailles” I took her to social media and shared news about her husband’s death with nearly 200,000 followers.
“I wanted to personally reach out and let you know that my husband, David Alan Siegel, passed away this morning,” she wrote. On Instagram. “I was fortunate to share 25 great years with David. We raised eight incredible children together. His life and legacy continues to live through them all.”

“To say we’re devastated is an understatement, but I feel so comforted to know that Victoria. [the couple’s late daughter] He was there to say hello – the first thing he heard was “daddy,” followed by a big embrace,” she wrote. “I wanted to share this with you because I know you all loved him too,” she continued. “We appreciate your love and support during these difficult times. It means the world to us. Life is a precious gift from God, and my husband has found peace with him.
According to Las Vegas Journal ReviewDavid lived with cancer before his death on April 5th, and was surrounded by his family when he died.

Just three days later, on Tuesday, Jackie revealed that her sister had died of an accidental drug overdose.
“When I mourn the deep loss of my beloved husband, David Siegel, who passed away on April 5th at the age of 89, my world was shattered again yesterday by the unexpected loss of my beautiful sister, Jessica Mullery, 43.
The foundation was created after David and Jackie’s daughter Victoria died of an overdose in 2015.

“Jessica died using cocaine mixed with fentanyl,” she continued. “Her death is another harsh memory of the drug epidemic and fentanyl crisis that plagues our country. And the urgent need to deal with substance abuse to save lives. Work in Victoria’s voice remains more important than ever, and in her memory, we will continue to raise awareness and defend each day until this form of sadness becomes a distant memory of this country.”
“Our family appreciates everyone’s love, support and prayers and seeks privacy during this extremely difficult time,” the Post concluded.

Jackie’s representatives did not immediately respond to a request for comment on Fox News Digital.
“My daughter loved life,” Jackie told her daughter Fox News Digital, who passed away in 2019. “She was like a hippie. She didn’t care about money, designer clothes, etc. She loved making her own tidai shirt and running around barefoot on the beach. She acted because she looked drug-free, but that wasn’t the case.”

“We didn’t know she was doing drugs,” she said. “It happened just below our nose. That’s one of the reasons we wanted to publish this book. I want other parents to know that if it could happen to us, it could happen to them. They really need to open their eyes.
“The wish to die in the form of a text was that she wanted to publish it because she felt it would help find the place it was hidden and save the lives of other teenagers. I felt that I needed to continue her legacy, which was very difficult for me.
