Former New York Governor Andrew Cuomo’s camp has rejected the allegation from “Squad” member MP Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez that he is simply seeking the mayor to improve his chances of becoming president.
CUOMO – With a hard-working current position Eric Adams – is considered one of the moderates in this year’s busy rank selection race for the nation’s largest city, and is currently leading the field.
In contrast, Ocasio-Cortez supports startups Socialist candidate Zohran Mamdani – Currently a state legislator from Astoria, he is trying to prevent the New York Democratic apocalypse from returning to politics.
“I don’t know where the far left got this stupid new topic,” Cuomo spokesman Rich Azopaldi told Fox News Digital on Monday.

“But the governor said, death aside, he would finish his term.”
Cuomo said he plans to become a national figure if elected mayor, but has not directly expressed his intention to replace President Donald Trump in 2028.
Meanwhile, Ocasio-Cortez said in a recent Mamdani incident that it appears that Cuomo has “clearly” “he wants to run” for the president.

She also lamented the “old man’s crime.” This is a clear reference to the more distinctive Democrats’ Democrats, who recently said sending the 67-year-old to the Gracie Mansion was “merciless.”
Mam ticksBorn in Uganda, the waves are deployed on a bold progressive platform on the far left. His proposals include “city-owned grocery stores,” establishment of rent freezes, free public transport and a minimum wage of $30. He is widely seen as a top candidate along with Cuomo.

But the editorial board of the typically liberal New York Times opposed the rankings of Mamdani in the vote, saying that the socialist agenda is “not unreasonable for urban challenges” while running a “fun campaign” with “a fresh political style where many people are starving in the era of President Trump’s wrath.”
As of Monday, several kuomo challengers approved each other – when voters select a hierarchy of priority candidates in a ranked electoral vote, they drew a literal “yawning” from the governor’s camp.
Assembled in the former New York state. Michael Blake, D-Bronx, Director Bradford Lander and Mamdani all did so, hoping that voters would choose the other two as their ranking candidates.
“Blake is zero percent in the poll, so you can quote yawns,” Azopaldi said.
The race’s Republican, founder of the Guardian Angels, Curtis Threewa, has little objection to the right of the ranked selection system.
