Ian Hap had an unforgettable moment on Thursday.
MLB The outfielder made an obvious mistake in the first innings of the Cubs cards game in St. Louis.
The Cubs celebrated their 3-0 victory over their rivals in the NL Central Division.

Hap stepped into the batter’s box to lead the game, hitting the left-to-left field.

A few batters, Cubs Right Fielder Seiya Suzuki hit a fly ball into the right field. Shortly after Suzuki’s bat made contact with the ball, Hap appeared to sprint from the base.

but Cardinals outfielder Alec Burleson made a catch and forced the Hap to go back to the base.
However, Hap skipped a key step to one base during his retreat. He made it up to 2 base when the ball hit the right field. This means he had to retouch his bag on his way back to the beginning.
Hap had touched 2base so he had to retouch it on his way back to the beginning. He didn’t.
The three-time Gold Glove winner returned to One Base before the ball went into the Cardinals First Baseman gloves, but he was eventually ruled out.
