College basketball Fans were pissed off by Cooper Flag’s foul call in the second half of the Duke Blue Devils’ epic collapse against the Houston Cougars in Saturday night’s Final Four.
Duke The game saw him shoot a free throw with 19.6 seconds remaining, gaining one point. Guard Tie Proctor’s shot came out of the rim and bounced back towards the flag. When the future NBA pro fought two Houston players for the ball, the referee blew whi and called it a loose ball foul on the flag.

J’Wan Roberts made two free throws and rose one point over Houston. Duke missed some shots on the stretch, and the Cougars won Game 70-67 to advance to the national championship.
Duke and the fans remained unbelievable.
“We had to give them a lot of credibility in what they do every night they played,” Flag said after the game. “We could have made the stretch a little more sharp by doing some things. At the end of the day you had to give them a lot of credibility too.”

Houston closed the game with a 9-0 run The last 33 seconds. Flag had 27 points.
“We knew it was challenging to know that he was the player of the year to get into that game and that he took the team to the final four,” Roberts said.
Blue Devils head coach John Shayer lamented the collapse
“That’s heartbreaking, incredibly sad,” he said. “There’s a lot of pain in this, and that’s what the tournament is all about.”

Houston plays Florida in the title game. The Cougars have never won a national championship.
