
PJ Blue, former college football player who played linebacker Louisville CardinalsThe school announced on Monday.
He was 27 years old.
The Alabama native committed to Louisville in 2016, but suffered from a torn ACL before making his college debut. When he was on the field in 2018, Blue had 39 tackles in 11 games. He missed the 2019 season after suffering another knee injury and didn’t play again.

“We are saddened to pass the Cardinal’s PJ Blue forever,” Louisville said in a social media post. “Our idea is with his loved one.”
The cause of death was not announced.
College Football Fans sent their patriots to Blue and his family on social media.

Blue has appeared in college as a highly advertised high school outlook. He was an American and US Army national candidate for Under Armour after being named to the All-State for the first team of Park Cross High School’s All-Metro Teams.
Todd Grantham, the defensive coordinator for Louiseville at the time, said he was “excited” to see Blue join the program.
