
“Cobra Kai” actress Courtney Hengeler is bold I’m leaving Hollywood.
With over 20 years of acting experience in the cutthroat industry, the 46-year-old Henggeler admitted she was “tap out.”
“After more than 20 years of good fights in the acting business, I cut my gloves,” she wrote recently. Substack Blog Post.

“I called my agent and told them I was tapping out. I no longer wanted to be a cog with the wheels of the machine.”
She pointed out that she wanted to have more control over her career and life and “become a machine.”

Hengeler, best known for her role as Amanda Lalsso in Netflix’s “Cobra Kai,” starred alongside “Karate Children’s” alumnus Ralph Macchio (63) and 59-year-old William Zabka. Her character is Macchio’s wife from the series.

She is a rising star in her 20s and has won small roles in popular shows such as House, NCIS, and The Big Bang Theory.
Despite these appearances, I remember that Hengeler was not “acting arts and crafts,” but just really knew Hollywood’s “hustle.”
“We survived the crumbs. We filled the cup with possibilities. We filled the mug with delusions. Our plates were empty, but the golden geese rested on our heads. Today could be the day. Today could be the day we’ll reach the golden geese,” she said.
“Over 20 years of this. I’m hungry.”

Henggeler considered herself “one of the lucky ones,” but was thinking of being directed by George Clooney on the sign, but she described those experiences as the definition of “golden goose.”
Henggeler collaborated with Clooney for the 2023 film. “A boy on the boat.”

“For years, I kept my voice silent in my head and asked to leave,” she wrote. “Voice, constant gnawing. It’s not because of the acting itself, but because of the gauntlet I had to run to reach acting.

Hengeler’s decision to leave Hollywood comes later “Cobra Kai” The sixth and final season were held in February.
During the “Cobra Kai” Season 6 Part 3 Red Carpet Finale Premiere event, Macchio said “away from Hollywood” on Fox News Digital.

“I always put one foot in and one foot out,” Macchio said.
He believes in his wife, Phyllis Fiero, 64.

Macchio met his wife when he was 15 years old. The couple tied the knot in August 1987. A few years later, they welcomed their daughter Julia in 1992 and their son Daniel in 1995.
