Carney Wilson can’t be relied on ozempic for weight loss immediately.
In an interview with Fox News Digital, Wilson, who previously lost over 100 pounds to gastric bypass and rap band surgery, explained her attitude towards weight loss pills.
“It scares me. I don’t do that. I had a friend who was just hospitalized so it wouldn’t happen for me,” Wilson said.

Instead, Wilson focuses on making healthy choices in his daily life.

“It’s a daily balance. It’s not perfect. I try not to eat sugar. It has a bit of a bit like granola bar, but it affects my mood. It affects my energy levels.
“It scares me. I don’t do that. I had a friend who was just hospitalized, so it doesn’t happen for me.”
“So, a healthier diet. It’s about taking care of yourself and I think it’s connected, do you know?
Wilson told her in 2024 to Fox News Digital Gastric bypass and rap band The surgery helped her go from 310 to 200 pounds.

“That’s amazing,” she said. “I’m so excited about it, do you know what I mean? I’m not skinny, I’m not perfect, but I’m much healthier than me. And I just want people to be healthy. ozempic or Mounjaro Or whatever you do, it works for you, great. You’ll be healthier. There should be no stigma to either of these. It’s to improve our health. ”

Wilson is currently working towards mental health awareness and partnering with Ingrezza.

The Grammy-nominated singer uses her platform to spread awareness about late dyskinesia (TD) through her “Connect with Kearney” initiative It debuted on May 6th.
TD is an involuntary movement disorder associated with the use of certain mental health medications.

Wilson told Fox News Digital that he started having mental health issues when he was five, but didn’t notice them until he was 18 or 19.
She explained that depression runs through her family, including her famous father, Beach Boys singer Brian Wilson. She believes that part of the mental health struggle is genetic, saying, “I was born as an addict. I was probably born with depression. [a] Try it for me. And that’s something I’m proud to face. I’m not ashamed of that. ”
“Every day is different. So one day is better than the other. One day is more challenging. Things can be even more challenging. You can feel the anxiety creeping up, but the best thing is to talk about it,” Wilson said of her own mental health.

“There’s still that stigma in mental health. It’s very sensitive. We’re just humans. We’re not just humans. We have a variety of emotions. We have physical pain. That means we know that if we stay positive every day and we’re connected to someone, we feel better.”
Wilson spoke about her new initiative, “Connect with Kearney” and her goal of creating a community.
