Americans tennis Star Taylor Fritz suffered a heartbreaking loss to two-time Wimbledon champion Carlos Alcaraz at the All England Club on Friday, giving the 22-year-old Phenom a chance to win three consecutive titles.
Fritz, no. Fiveseed fought in hopes of becoming the first American to appear Wimbledon Since Andy Roddick did that in 2009, he has been defeated in the tiebreaker in the fourth set.

“It was a really difficult game. Always. [is] When I have to play against Taylor – even more difficult in today’s situation,” Alcaraz said in an on-court interview.
Alcaraz said he was “prideful” about his performance, and he saw the best Fritz 6-4, 5-7, 6-3, 7-6 (6) and reached the final with a 24-game winning streak.

Fritz played well, recording 19 aces and 44 winners, but that wasn’t enough.
Alkaraz will advance to the finals on Sunday and face the winners of the semi-finals on Friday and the semi-finals of Novak Djokovic and Giannik Sinner. He previously defeated Djokovic in the 2023 and 2024 Grand Slam finals to defeat the sinners. French Open Last month’s final.

On the women’s side, Amanda Anisimova is still trying to make history for the Americans.
She will face Iga Swiatek in the final on Saturday. There he will be the first American to beat Wimbledon since Serena Williams did that in 2016.
