The announcement comes weeks after AB Hernandez, athletics athlete from a transgender high school, won a medal in the women’s competition at the California State Championships. “Governor Gavin Newsom said it was “deeply unfair” to allow men to compete in women’s sports a few months ago, but both the California Department of Education and the Scholastic Federation between California stole the proper praise of female athletes a few weeks ago, calling Linda unfair competition injustice.
“The Trump administration has relentlessly enforced Title IX protections for women and girls, and today’s findings reveal that California cannot comply with its federal law obligations.
The Education Bureau said There will be 10 days to agree to the agency’s proposed resolution agreement, which states that “each woman whose individual recognition is restored will send a personalized letter to a girl or woman who apologises on behalf of California for giving CDE educational experience through sexism.”
Additonally “CDE issues a notice requiring all recipients of federal funds (recipients) that operate the Scholastic Athletics Program in California to comply with Title IX. This means that Title IX and its implementation regulations prohibit schools from allowing men to participate in sports and women to employ facilities that are intermediary between them.
“The CDE and CIF withdraw guidance that allows local school districts or CIF members to participate in female and girl sports to preempt state law if state law conflicts with Title IX.
“CDE must submit annual certification to CDE to each recipient and CIF that the recipient and CIF are compliant with Title IX. Therefore, CDE proposes to the OCR a monitoring plan to ensure that the recipient is fully compliant with Title IX.”
The U.S. Department of Education and Justice’s Special Title IX Survey first began an investigation into the CDE on April 4th.
Fox News Digital has contacted Newsom, CIF and CDE for comments.

“It shouldn’t happen to a young man trying to win a state championship in the long jump in women’s sports,” Kirk said. “As governor, you should go out and say no. Do you do that? Do you say there are no men in women’s sports?”
“I think it’s a matter of fairness. I totally agree with that. “I’m not working on the issue of fairness. I fully agree with you.”
Kirk pushed Newsom whether he would denounce the athlete in question from Jalpa Valley High School after the athlete won another event at the time. Newsom didn’t directly address the victory, but said, “It’s a fair question.”
“So it’s easy to tell the injustice of that,” he said. “There is humility and grace too. … These poor people are more likely to commit suicide, anxiety and depression, and the way people talk to vulnerable communities is a problem I struggle with.
“So, both things I can hold in my hand. How can I deal with this problem with a decency that I don’t think is always expressed in this issue?”
Newsom further explained his perspective at a press conference on April 2, when asked whether there should be a law that prohibits men from competing in sports for girls and women.
“And I am open to that discussion, especially at my party, as long as I do it in a way that someone can be respectful and responsible and find a balance.
“And because this is coloured and weaponized by the right to be ten times, or even 100 times bigger, my focus is on many of the other issues in this state.
McMahon said when he appeared. “Fox & Friends” California will risk losing federal funds for K-12 schools if the requirements are not met.

“It’s funny to hear Governor Newsom say it’s a matter of fairness,” McMahon said. “It’s easy. The story is cheap. I think he needs to put money where his mouth is.”
Riley Gaines supported the decision of the Education Department.
“Today’s decision is a long postponed victory for women and girls,” Gaines said in a statement to Fox News Digital. “California deliberately violates Title IX, and the Department of Education is right to hold them accountable. Restoring the title, record and dignity of female athletes is just the beginning.
“I commend Secretary McMahon and the Trump administration for standing up for women and girls everywhere.
