The Trump administration announced Wednesday that it will sues the California Department of Education (CDE) and the California Federation of Interstate Integration (CIF) for allegedly violating Title IX.
The administration is seeking an injunction against state policies to allow men to compete with women in sports. This is the issue that reached the rabid pitch that saw trans athletes win multiple events in women’s track and field earlier this year.
The U.S. Education Office recently discovered California in violation of Title IX.
