“The only thing is, if someone says something to me, I’ll probably go back to you, but I’m not really going to start doing it.
“The people who talked about trash were like that [former Phoenix Mercury star] Diana Taurasi. But it was all very fun. We were playing them at home and she fouled me pretty hard from behind. And I turned around and said, “That’s intentional, you didn’t go to the ball,” I referred. [and] She was coming back to me and I was like, “It’s fine, I’ll do it again.” And we kept going back and forth between each other, then to the other end. ”
Later in the game, Taurasi added to Clark, “I just love you.”
