Brookshields was dubbed once Meghan Markle As “too precious.”
Recent appearances in India Hicks podcaststhe 60-year-old actress recalled the moment she left the Duchess of Sussex on a panel at South by Southwest Festival last year.
To mark International Women’s Day, Katie Courick asked the panel questions relating to gender equality. And Markle responded immediately.

In 2017, Markle, who shared the exact same story with Vanity Fair, referred to a letter when she wrote to a company that encouraged women to wash dishes.
“She starts telling stories when she was 11. And then, “Well, when I was 11, I watched this commercial. They were talking about washing dishes for women. And she said, “I didn’t think only women would wash dishes. That wasn’t fair. So I wrote it to the company.”

Shield recalled interrupting Merkle during the panel.
“I’m going, sorry, sorry, I have to get in the way for a minute.” I tried not to be rude, but I was so serious that I wanted everyone to say how we were different, how I was different. ”
Having won laughs from the audience, Shields mentioned her role in the 1978 film “Pretty Baby.”
