Chinese airlines have begun returning Boeing aircraft to the US, according to Reuters.
Saturday’s return occurred shortly after China ordered airlines not to deliver further Boeing aircraft in response to US challenges 145% tariff The Bloomberg News reported last week.

The aircraft painted with Xiamen Livery was one of the largest jets of a few 737 waiting at the Zhoushan completion centre for final work and delivery to Chinese airlines.

As Boeing recovers from the nearly five-year import freeze on the 737 Max Jet, there will be a U-turn on tariff wars and delivery. The suspension in China began in 2019 on safety concerns, following two fatal crashes involving Indonesian and Ethiopian plane models.
