“He was killed by a motorcycle for illegally admitting that Maryland knew it was illegal five years before killing my son. And in those five years they had put him in prison five times. He was convicted of domestic violence and was on probation.

Noem said he held a press conference “At the direction of President Trump today, we will focus on the dangerous policies of Illinois and the governor of Illinois, and bring to mind the perpetualization of his violence and criminality against the citizens of this state.”

“Unlike Donald Trump and Christy Noem, Illinois follows the law,” Pretzker said in a statement about Noem’s visit. “The Trump administration violates the US Constitution, denying legitimate procedures for people and destroying law-abiding neighbors, including children who are US citizens. But they have not taken real action to promote public safety and deport violent offenders within clearly defined legal procedures.
“Trumpgnome propaganda stunts don’t make our communities safer or our immigration system smarter. Illinois doesn’t have to abuse or ignore the constitution to keep our people safe. Just as millions of Americans are sought wise and humane immigration reform, secretaries encourage Fox News to perform less and more time to protect their homeland.”
