Christopher Atkins never forgets his on-screen kiss with Linda Gray on the TV “Cougar.”
The actor played camp counselor Peter Richards, the much younger lover of Grey’s Sue Ellen Ewing in the hit television series Dallas from 1983 to 1984.
“They put me together and Linda, and she was the first cougar,” Atkins told Fox News Digital. “Our first kiss scene, which solidified this moment between us two, was on the dock at this place on the lake, and everyone is watching. Usually, everyone goes home after their scene… They say “action.”

“Linda said to me, ‘So what was it?” he recalled. “I thought, ‘What do you think I should say to it? Ah, that was awful, shall we do it again? I said, ‘Yeah, that was good.’ And then, all of a sudden, my lips numbed, as a joke.
“That was my introduction to Dallas.” He laughed.

As part of his sex symbol role, the “Dallas” producer put on him in a small swimming trunk.
“I took a note from the network saying I was going to stop cramming my speed,” Atkins laughed. “I was thinking, what the hell is that? I mean, it’s kind of a backhand composure… I think Larry Hagman or someone was free [pranking me] Because they put me speed for the show. They didn’t have to do that, but that’s what they did. So I think the notes were more joking. ”

The film was controversial for portraying two young characters in sexual relationships, but it wasn’t the first time Shield had raised an eyebrow. People Magazine reported that she appeared on “Pretty Baby” two years ago, where she played a 12-year-old prostitute.

“The crew was all Australian,” Atkins said. “At the time, all Australian beaches were topless. It was very natural and free for Australians. And we were on an abandoned island, with no tourists or anything. We were the only ones on this island… [And] These two kids natural [and deserted] Environment, they are not dressed. What they need to hide would not have been at the forefront of their minds. ”

“As time passed, it became more and more natural to not wear clothes,” Atkins said. “The crew has become so easy. Randall. [Kleiser]the director made it very simple about it. I figured it out and got it. ”

From the incredible salary I was getting, I would one day clean up a dollar when I had kids. That’s how badly I wanted the kids. When I had two kids, I did whatever I had done my way to keep food on the table for them and keep work. ”

“I’ve been blessed,” he recalled. “I’ve done over 100 different movies and TV shows at this point. Now, my kids have had kids. That’s pretty amazing… I’ve done everything in this business other than making my own movies.
