Brazilian authorities said two people were arrested in connection with a bomb plot targeting a Lady Gaga concert in Rio de Janeiro on Saturday.
lady gaga After releasing her latest album, “Mayhem,” she performed for a crowd of over 2 million people at Copacabana Beach as part of her world tour. However, police now say the arrest was made hours before she took the stage.
“I learned about this alleged threat through media coverage this morning,” a pop star spokesman told Fox News Digital. “There was no known safety concerns before and after the show, nor did we communicate with Mrs. Gaga from the police or authorities regarding potential risks.”
“Her team worked closely with law enforcement through planning and execution of the concert, and all stakeholders were confident in their safety measures.”

State Police in Rio de Janeiro And the Brazilian Ministry of Justice presented a naked outline of the plot that they were planning to explode homemade explosive devices at the event, involving groups that encouraged hate speech, particularly against the LGBTQ+ community.
One of the arrested men was described as the leader of a group in the southern province of Rio Grande Dousul on suspicion of illegal weapon possession. A teenager has been arrested in Rio on child pornography charges. Police did not elaborate on their exact role in the plot or how the group was targeted. Lady Gaga’s free concert.

The Associated Press said a series of attacks at the homes of 15 suspects ended with confiscation of electronic devices and phones. However, authorities did not mention weapons or explosive devices.
Police said nothing about the suspected conspiracy at the time, due to “avoiding panic” and “information distortion.”
In the past, organizers cancelled concerts when bomb threats were involved. A handful Taylor Swift Concert in Austria It was cancelled in August after allegations of a terrorist were revealed.
