The former Washington Wizards Guard spoke about his son’s progress on Tuesday.
“He’s doing very well,” Gilbert Arenas said. “Dan Patrick’s Show.”
“He was with him that morning, and I’m happy he’s fully recovered. There were no major injuries. That’s all you can pray for.”
The former NBA player explained that he would normally check the Tesla app and see where his son was in the early hours of the morning. Usually he is in the gym or on his way home early in the morning. He confirmed the morning when his son crashed and said he thought he would be at the gym until his daughter told him otherwise.
He said his son was locked up in the car for 12 minutes.

“My thing about me was to make sure my limbs weren’t broken. There were no burns,” he told Patrick. “Fortunately for him, he was trapped in the car for a long time, but fortunately there were bystanders who heard the crash that kicked him out early in the morning.
“He was a little stronger than I thought. He was awake like crazy, so they put him in a coma guided just to get the air. [lungs]. I think he was in the car, it looked like about 10, 12 minutes. …I’m just sucking it in. ”

Aliya Arena has committed To USC January. He attended Chatsworth High School. He was considered a five-star recruit and became the first boy in the region to score 3,000 career points.
