The judge’s seventh explosion was the 321st of his career, matching Babe Ruth’s total in his first 1,000 games Yankees.

The Yankees captain has won AL MVP in two of the last three seasons, picking up the right he left to launch the 2025 campaign. Last season, the judge hit .322 with 58 home runs and 144 RBI.
Throughout the seven games this season, the judge has a batting average of .379 with six home runs and 17 RBIs.

The judge hit more home runs Tampa Bay RaysColorado Rockies, Houston Astros, Kansas City Royals, Miami Marlins, Toronto Blue Jays, and Minnesota twins.
The Yankees batter who played a strong game wasn’t the only judge Pirates. The third baseman Oswald Cabrera was 3-3 with a 4 RBI. Shortstop Anthony Volpe had three hits in the win.

Freed signed the Yankees in the offseason on an eight-year, $218 million contract, and the most profitable deal for left-handed pitchers in MLB history.
The Judges and Yankees (5-2) will take on the Pirates (2-6) in the second game of the Eastern 3-Game Series at 4:05pm on Saturday. Marcus Stroman starts for the Yankees, while Bailey Falter takes the mound for the pirates.
