David Beckham’s relationship with King Charles III reportedly became stronger than ever as both men endured the family feud.
Several UK outlets have recently reported that the co-owner of Intermiami CF and Salford City has been knighted by King, 76, and that his contribution to his wife, Victoria Beckham, will become “Lady Beckham.”
Fox News Digital reached out to Beckham and Buckingham Palace spokesmen for comment.

“The relationship between David and King Charles III has become stronger in recent years, particularly through their shared interest in beekeeping and environmental sustainability.” British Royals expert Hilary Fordwich He told Fox News Digital. “David gave the King a jar of homemade honey as a coral gift and was recently appointed ambassador to the King’s Foundation.”

Beckham’s honor comes as reported tensions involving his eldest son, Brooklyn Beckham, and his wife, Nicola Peltz. The couple reportedly distanced themselves and reportedly burned rumors of a family rift.
Prince Harry, the king’s young sontold the BBC in May that he was ready to reconcile with his family, but the patriarch told him he would not speak to him.

Royal expert Ian Pelham Turner told Fox News Digital that Beckham has been loyal to the monarchy for many years.
“It would be a mistake to compare it to Harry and Meghan’s status, which have royal backgrounds,” Turner said. “…Beckham has supported Harry in the past, but has leaned towards Prince William and Kate Middleton.”

Turner said Beckham deserves more recognition than ever, despite reports of family dramas.
“David created a great support mechanism for the UK and Victoria’s fashion has been praised internationally,” Turner said. “He is a tireless supporter of British sports and charities and has become a solid favourite for the king and other members of the royal family.”
