The legendary plane crash crash of dirt track race Scott Bloomquist According to a National Transportation Safety Board (NTSB) report released this week, it was determined that it was a suicide last August.
Bloomquist, 60, died in a crash of a small plane in a barn near his home Mooresburg, TennesseeAugust 16, 2024.

NTSB listed the cause of Bloomquist’s death as “a deliberate flight to the building as a pilot’s suicide,” according to Fox Sports.
Bloomquist’s family has issued a statement Fox Sports When the NTSB report was released.
“At this time, Scott Bloomquist’s family has not issued any public statements regarding the crash of a plane or the results of a recent NTSB investigation,” the Bloomquist’s family said. “They are focused on supporting each other and are respectfully demanding privacy as they navigate this difficult period.

Bloomquist rose to fame in the 1980s, but his career began in the 1990s. He was particularly inducted into the National Dirt Models Hall of Fame as a member of the Second Class in 2009, 2010 and 2016 Lucas Oil Models in 2002.

He has more than 600 victories in his career and has won the most in Lucas Oil Late Model Dirt Series At 60.
