Technology Executive Elon Musk On Wednesday, he said he made some of his recent social media posts attacking President Donald Trump and admitted they had “going too far.”
“I regret some of my posts last week about President @RealdonaldTrump. They went too far,” Musk wrote in X.
This comes after the recent release between the two as billionaire tech executives began criticizing Trump on his “big beautiful” spending bill after Musk spent months cutting unnecessary spending as part of the government’s efficiency.
At one point, Musk claimed that Trump is on the Justice Department file for an investigation into defendant Jeffrey Epstein, and that’s why the presidential administration hasn’t made them public.

“Time to drop a really big bomb: @Realdonaldtrump is in the Epstein Files,” Musk wrote. “That’s the real reason they’re not public. Have a good day, DJT!”
Musk later Post deleted.
Other posts from Musk included claims that Trump could not have won the election without his help, while accusing him of being “unclear.” In another post, Musk suggested that Trump should be fired each and replaced by Vice President Vance.
Trump said last week that he is not interested in talking to Musk., He told Fox News, “Eron lost it completely.”
The president also said he was “very disappointed” by voice criticism of the mask spending bill while talking to reporters in his oval office last week. Trump argued that Musk knew what the bill was about and “it was no problem” until the incentives for electric vehicles were reduced.

Trump also criticized Musk on social media, saying, “Eron ‘wears thin,’ I asked him to leave, I took away his EV mission.
But this week, Musk and Trump appeared to soften their stances against each other.
“We had a great relationship and I really hope for him – very well, actually,” Trump said Monday.
Musk, who was also a senior adviser to Trump before his recent exit from the federal government, responded to the clip with a heart emoji.
The public spat between the two billionaires appeared to be losing steam after Musk appeared to issue support Trump’s reaction Anti-ice demonstration in Los Angeles.

“Governor Gavin Newscum and the ‘Mayor’ base should apologise to the people of Los Angeles for the absolutely horrifying work they did, and now includes the ongoing LA riots. These are not protesters, they are troublemakers and rebels.”
Musk also responded to a post by Vance, where he shared a screenshot of the post from Trump about how his administration will deal with the Los Angeles demonstrations.
“This moment calls for decisive leadership,” Vance said along with a screenshot. “The president will not tolerate riots and violence.”
The mask responded to the post with a pair of American flag emojis.
