Kim Alexis turned 65 in July. She is determined to “age gracefully.”
The 80s supermodel appeared on covers of over 500 magazines and posed six times for a sports-illustrated swimsuit. Vocalist on Instagram About accepting natural signs of aging. The 64-year-old has written several books on clean diets over the years.
“I wasn’t working on my face,” the former cover girl told Fox News Digital. “I have a great faith in staying as natural as possible. I accept and enjoy the wrinkles. I’m not here to prove anything. I’ll turn 65 in a month… and I’ve won them.”

“I try to look as good as possible,” she shared. “I think we all do that, but not. I’m just wearing my hair in a ponytail and not putting on makeup. I’m still a human and I’m still me.
“I don’t lightly pardon other women about doing things,” she continued. “I think women are very, very protective about what they do. And when I say I don’t want to have procedures, I’m not here because I don’t want them to be very defensive. I’m here how I see 65.

Alexis praised the other models From her days like Christie Brinkley And Paulina Polizkova, who spoke openly about her aging journey on social media.

“We’re all just trying to be our best,” Alexis said. “I want to stay active and do my best. It’s about making good choices towards health that doesn’t leave my health.”
Alexis said he will keep her moving by having a youthful spirit. She emphasized that age is merely a number.

“I think it was a step-by-step process when I started thinking about gracefully aging,” she explained.

“And there is a part of me that I don’t think I’m old yet… I think part of that is my way of thinking, I mean, I think I’m still young, but I think there is a physical thing that is changing.
“I’m a very natural person, so I don’t like to mess with nature. I want to use what God has placed on this planet to help me heal and protect me on a clean level,” she shared. “I might put something good on my body and choke it with something that can cause wrinkles, fatigue me, or cause me to act badly.”

Alexis recently said Keeps her beauty routine very simplefocusing on a lot of hydration, moisturizing, and exfoliating the skin to remove the skin once a week. The star also likes to keep her silver chains golden. She prioritizes staying active every day and also feels the appearance.
“I’ve always been there [active] I was young so fitness is something I have to do. [At age 20] I ran eight marathons to discover I was running and to prove I was an athlete. . . . I think when I was about 62, 63, my knee started to work and the doctor put me on the bench. So I had to look around and say, “OK Kim, you don’t want to go back to the pool, because you’re always staring at the black lines.”

“And I go sometimes, but I ruin the golf game in the pool, and I do a lot of golf charity events. … It ruins my shoulders.

“I’m going to be free weight,” she shared. “I love my little dumbbells. I go with everyone in the gym guys section. I do the dumbbell routine of keeping my upper body strong. My husband and I workout my feet in a week or two.

“It was really amazing to see it portrayed in sports for swimsuits,” Alexis recalls. “No. 1, I grew up swimming so I was comfortable in my swimsuits. And when I was interviewed, I was sitting there wearing jeans and a t-shirt. New York City Office And I got the job without exposing my body. . . . Being outdoors, athletic and wearing a swimsuit was in my alley. ”

Still, the star admitted that she was not ready for the new attention she received.
“When I started getting feedback from guys, I think that’s when I realized, oh, I’m bumping into another population,” she said. “It’s not just women who look at fashion magazines, they’re the guys they’re aware of now. And Jules Campbell, the editor of sports illustration, was kind enough to put our names in the magazine so that people can know their names and get their faces and bodies.”

Alexis continued to pivot her career into Hollywood. She appeared in the final episode of “Cheers,” entitled “One for the Road,” in 1993. It was the moment when Alexis knew he had made it.

“Being in the final episode of “cheers” was in a way surprising,” she said. “I sit in the back room and listen to the parts of the script I wasn’t there. But they kept saying, ‘Supermodel Kim Alexis!” I’m like, “You have to make me a joke.” They keep saying my name.
And she didn’t leave empty-handed.

Today, Alexis is happy to call Arizona homewhere she raised her family. She enjoys connecting with her fans on social media, with women offering aging advice.
“For people who don’t want to see their age, I think that’s a way of thinking,” she said. “If you’re happy, grateful, kind and giving to others about life, I think you have the sparks and charm that others want to see.”
