NFL Veteran Receiver Chris Conley is leaving football to pursue other passions.
Conley, 32, announced his retirement from the NFL after 10 seasons in a social media post, explaining that he ultimately achieved what he was trying to do as a child.

“When I was a kid, I wrote down a set of goals, and the list was “playing in the NFL for 10 years.” With this goal achieved, it’s time to set a sight for something new,” Conley spent his last two seasons. San Francisco 49ers, I wrote it.

“The last 10 years have been a dream. It’s an honor to get the opportunity to play in the league. I really gave it everything, whether they’re catching touchdowns or blocking them.”
Conley’s agent Jonathan Pertree said NFL Network Conley enrolls at the University of Georgia and pursues her dream of becoming a filmmaker.
“God hasn’t made any mistakes and I am grateful that he has proven this to me throughout my career,” Conley’s post said. “He’s enough. I’ll see you in my next dream.”

Conley was on the third pick from Georgia. Kansas City Chiefs, He played four seasons. He also spent time with the Jacksonville Jaguars, Houston Texans and Tennessee Titans.
Conley was the only Super Bowl appearance in 2024 against his former team, the Chiefs. He caught one pass for 18 yards in the Ninas’ 25-22 loss.

He finished his career with 226 receptions for 2,998 yards and 15 touchdowns.
