Texas police have identified a man from abroad as someone allegedly threatened with death. Houston Astros pitcher Lance McCulls Jr. and his family after a poor start with the Cincinnati Reds last month.

“Investigators spoke to him and stated that he lost money on the Astros game and was irritated and drunk when he assaulted him on social media,” the spokesman said. “He apologised and asked investigators to tell the McCullers family his apology.”
The Astros hired 24-hour security for McCuller and his family after reporting that they had been online threats to the team. The Astros also contacted us. MLB Security And the Houston Police Department is concerned about those.

McCullers said he had to try to explain the situation to his 5-year-old daughter.
“When I got home, she asked me, “So those conversations are difficult to deal with.”
McCullers, who returned this year after missing two full seasons with injuries, said dealing with the threat was the worst thing that has happened during his career.

“People should want us to succeed,” the two fathers said. “We want to succeed, but we have to feel that our family, our children in our lives, are expensive and we feel that we are sitting where they live and where in the game.”
Police say the man at the heart of these threats has not been identified as no charges have been filed. ESPN reported The case remains open.
