First on FOX: Ohio Secretary of State introduced dozens of non-citizens Double Voters Due to potential prosecutions in eight states and Washington, D.C. on Tuesday.
Official Frank LaRose says his office has revealed evidence of 30 non-US citizens registered to vote in Ohio. Similarly, the survey believed that 11 individuals from Virginia, Arizona, Colorado, the District of Columbia, Illinois, Kentucky, Maryland and South Carolina voted in multiple jurisdictions.
“We must send a clear message that election fraud is not tolerated,” Larose said in a statement provided to Fox News Digital. “The only way to maintain Ohio’s election integrity standards is to enforce the law whenever it breaks.”
The Ohio Election Integrity Unit conducted the survey by reviewing Ohio voter registrations and comparing them with federal and state data.
Laroth wrote to the attorney generals of all states involved in the investigation, introducing individuals to the prosecution.

“Critics of Ohio’s election integrity efforts may try to minimize the importance of these referrals, as if small amounts of electoral crimes are acceptable,” LaRose wrote to Ohio Attorney General Dave Yost. “Even one illegal voting can ruin the outcome of a citizen-wide election, whether it’s a school taxation, a majority control of the legislative room, or even a statewide election competition.”
“In this last election, a single vote in Licking County determined the outcome of local collection after the final accreditation count,” LaRose noted.
Yost’s office did not immediately respond to requests for comment from Fox News Digital.

Ohio’s move comes days after President Donald Trump Ministry of Justice Last week they sued North Carolina and the North Carolina Election Commission, allegedly failing to maintain an accurate voter list.
The Trump administration argues that the Tar Heal state is violating the 2002 Help America Voting Act (HAVA). Board officials did not clarify whether the applicant must provide a driver’s license number or if the applicant does not have the last four digits of the applicant’s Social Security number. If the applicant does not have either, the law states must assign a special identification number.

The lawsuit alleges that a “slight number” of North Carolina voters who failed to fill out the voter registration form in accordance with the HAVA “were still registered by election officials.”

In previous editions of the State Election Commission The democratic majority He admitted the issue in late 2023 after voters complained. The board has updated its voter registration form, but has refused to contact people who had registered for the vote in time for the 2024 election since 2004, allowing them to fill in missing numbers.
