House Republicans requested that the committee include the following languages: “None of the funds available through this or other actions will be used in vertebrate research for the purposes of studying drugs, surgery, or other interventions that change the human body (which interferes with body development, prevents or is unable to respond to natural functioning.

“The transgender animals are then injured, shocked, injected with street drugs and vaccines, and undergo other intrusive procedures,” the House Republican said in the letter. Reported by Fox News Digital Early this year.
“President Trump has personally criticised these experiments several times, and government efficiency has cancelled millions of NIHs to fund transgender animal trials. However, these NIHs still take advantage of the gender transition of lab animals,” House GOP members said.
