Bill Belichick While he was the head coach of New England Patriots, he pulled back the curtains on how he managed to keep the relationship between quarterback Tom Brady and wide receiver Antonio Brown in a good place.
The Patriots signed wide receivers towards the beginning of the 2019 season, following a sudden departure from the Las Vegas Raiders. He ultimately played one game for New England, making four catches and touchdowns for 56 yards. Even if he was a one hit wonder at Foxborough, Brady and Brown cultivated a relationship that lasted among them Tampa Bay Buccaneers year.

Belichick, head football coach at the University of North Carolina Chapel Hill, has opened “pivot” Podcast about the secret ingredients that float their relationship – $5,000 milk. Host Ryan Clark pointed to a chapter in Belichick’s book, The Art of Winning: My Life in Football, a chapter on star players.
“One of the funniest stories in the book is the story of Antonio Brown. He was a patriot for 11 days,” Belichick said. “And Tom is very nutritionally conscious. Antonio wanted to… Antonio to come to his house, accept him and take him to the team.

“Antonio ordered this special milk for Brady. It cost $5,000. To shorten the long story, it got a bit confusing and ended up in the mail room for too long, causing the milk to get worse.”
Belichick said Patriot staff got $5,000 worth of milk to give Brown a helping hand.
“So, now we’re going to submit this expense report – $5,000 worth of milk. Sometimes you just had to do the right thing and I didn’t want to ruin this rotten milk brown and Brady relationship,” he said.
