Scarlett Johansson continues to share her opinion artificial intelligence – And she has some suggestions on how technology should be regulated in the future.
During an interview with Vanity Fairthe actress spoke about an AI company that has allegedly used her portrait in the past and used her voice. She told the outlet that she insists that legislation will be carried out around evolving technology.
“There must be a set of agreed boundaries. [AI] It is not harmful. I hope more people will support it and talk about it – I don’t know why it’s not,” Johansson said.

This is not the first time Johansson has warned about the dangers of AI.
In 2024, Johansson claimed that CEO Sam Altman asked her to speak up with Openai’s chatbot, but turned down the job only after realising that a feature named “Sky” sounded like an actress.
“There must be a set of agreed boundaries. [AI] It is not harmful. I hope more people will support it and talk about it – I don’t know why it isn’t. ”

In a statement to NPR after the release of “Sky,” Johansson said, “When I heard the demo that was released, I was shocked, angry, and I was unbelievable that my close friends and newslet pursued a voice that was very similar to my voice, which was unable to convey the difference. Johansson’s lawyer said Variety“We don’t lighten these things. We will treat them as all legal remedies in accordance with the usual course of action in these circumstances.”
